Sick New World Festival Background and Lineup

Launched in 2023, Sick New World focuses on nu-metal, alternative metal and related heavy genres. Its inaugural Las Vegas edition brought together influential acts from the Y2K-era heavy music scene, including System of a Down, Korn and Deftones. The festival's Fort Worth date extends its reach to Texas in 2026.

System of a Down headline both announced 2026 festival dates, while Deftones are listed as a co-headliner for Fort Worth. Slayer adds another major name to this event's lineup. Festival production is designed around multiple stages, giving fans a full day of performances and the chance to experience different sets across the grounds. Expect a high-energy atmosphere shaped by heavy riffs, crowd participation and dedicated band followings.

Prices currently start around $120, with major festival tickets potentially reaching $500 or more depending on ticket type, availability and seating or viewing options. Check the event's current listings for up-to-date prices and details.

Venue and Seating Information

Texas Motor Speedway is a large motorsports and entertainment venue in Fort Worth, with grandstands arranged around its oval track. Concert and festival layouts can differ from race-day configurations, so the event map is the best guide to available viewing areas.

For a festival, infield general-admission areas may offer an immersive, closer-to-the-stages experience if included in the event layout. Grandstand sections facing the main stage can provide an elevated perspective; sections oriented away from the stage may have less direct views. Confirm the stage position and seating configuration before choosing tickets.

Parking Information

The speedway has extensive on-site parking, with options at different distances from the gates. Large events can mean heavy traffic, so plan to arrive early and review event-day directions before setting out.

• Preferred parking: On-site and closest to the venue, with estimated pricing of $20–$50 per event depending on event size. Check parking details.
• General parking: On-site lots around the speedway perimeter, with shuttle service available and estimated pricing of $10–$25 per event. Review lot information.

Rideshare drop-off and pickup areas are also available near the main gates; allow extra time for pickup after the festival. Parking prices and availability can change, so confirm arrangements in advance.
